In With The New

It’s been quite a while, hasn’t it?

I’ve been pretty busy for the past year. Of course, part of that is because of preparations for upcoming blogs, all of which I still intend to go through with. But the year of 2024, for lack of better words, has not been very nice to me. I’ve had a few epiphanies about my current state of wellbeing, thanks to those within my support network, and I hope that I’ll be changing for the better in the near future. I’ve been healing, both physically and mentally, and I think that the new year is going to be a wonderful start to this brand new chapter.

And what better way to celebrate the new year and the new me… than with new blogs?

For those of you that aren’t in the Discord (which you can join by clicking that nifty little widget over on the right), I’ve had a few publicly announced projects in the works for a while now. All of them will be released in 2025, on a vaguely monthly schedule. Really just depends on how fast I can get my adderall prescription going. 

In addition to the expected matchup blogs and character blogs, I also may throw in some opinion pieces as well every now and again, similar in format to this. Nothing too structured or official, just some off-rip commentary on something VS-related. Maybe a retrospective, maybe a review, maybe an unhinged diatribe on why the string feat from Spongebob is dumb and stupid and makes me want to strangle myself with said string... conversations for another day.

But, for those who’ve been sticking with me for all this time… first of all, thank you. Your support and interest in this niche little hobby of mine means a lot, and it’s that interest that helps me keep going, even when times get as rough as they have. But, more pressingly… perhaps the following trailer has a surprise or two for you all as well?
